My name is Svetlana and I am from Moscow. Although, I was not born in Moscow, when asked where I am from, the only answer that naturally comes into my mind is “Moscow”.
I moved to Moscow in 2005 from a town located in the Middle-of-Nowhere, Russia, and now I really associate myself with Moscow. Moscow is the city where I started my professional life and has now become home that I always feel connected with. And most importantly, I love Moscow. You can find anything here: from busy business life to calm streets and parks, from beautiful architectural monuments to bizarre modern art, from a mixture of epochs and traditions to national “Russian spirit”, from incredible theatres and museums to nonstop night clubs.
But what makes Moscow truly unforgettable is its unique and special concentration of life – its pulse and drive-driven by its inhabitants and the numerous events that happen here every day. As a very active person I let myself fall into Moscow’s vibe and explore to the fullest all the opportunities that Moscow has to offer. I know the city like the back of my hand, and in my free time I cycle in the innumerable parks, explore little-known corners of the metropolis and meet people – locals, travellers and expats alike – who always give me new ideas and insights.
Moscow doesn’t leave anybody indifferent and I am here to help you to appreciate its beauty and to feel the beating of the heart of Russia. I will show you that once you fall in love with Moscow, this feeling is forever!
